| | | | | | The following qualities attract me when I look at a woman: aestetics; kindness; gentleness, sophistication, elegance, graceful aging, traditions and harmony in short and longer term goals.
I prefer exoverted individuals, happy and joyful personalities. Hopefully you like to dance (how about tango?), you love Greece, you speak Greek (or you are eager to learn), you understand/enjoy Greek culture and Greece is a place you love to visit and you may even consider living there one day.
As for me: I am from Argos, Greece. One day I hope to live in Greece as I think that it provides a more meaningful social structure for people to interact and develop deeper relationships. Besides, I am in tune with its land, the language, its people. In the mean time I enjoy my life in USA (Bay Area). I came to US to do my graduate studied; got in love, married an American classmate, and got a child, who is now ready to go to the university (speaks Greek fluently).
I have been available for a few years now (post divorce). I am eager to meet the special one to live all the moments that one would expect to live with the "love" of one's life. If you have lived the most intense moments; and you are looking to settle, in all likelihood I am not the one for you.
Ideally, I would prefer to meet a person from Greece (my geographical area, even better), who would be willing to live in US for a few years and then in all likelihood relocate to Greece. ... (cont'd)

| | | | | | I grew up in Pittsburgh, and later spent 12 years in Los Angeles. Recently I have also lived in Colorado and back east, but now I am enjoying being back in sunny California. Pursuing the rare (but becoming less so) jobs in the solar energy field has led to these moves.
Generally, I don't like to put labels on myself (the boxes can be rather confining), but you probably want to know something...hanging out with a group of people can be fun, but I always enjoy one-with-one interaction, and reflective and open conversation. I try to walk the fine line between sweetness and sensitivity, and sarcastic and witty banter.
I've had and still have numerous extracurricular interests over the years: team sports, spirituality, world affairs (from a leftist or progressive viewpoint), art and music (both as a spectator and very amateur participant), tennis, and lately golf. Here's some other stuff i like...movies: rainman, roger & me, crumb, gandhi, pulp fiction, a beautiful mind ; music: pat metheny, incubus, antonio carlos jobim, dire straits, dead can dance, john coltrane, joni mitchell; misc: loveline radio show, richard feynman, thich nhat hanh, animals (esp. cats).
I also like to travel. My last name is stavrides. Feel free to get creative in ways of contacting me. Among my favorites have been Argentina, Australia, and many places in Europe. Weekend getaways are also nice. ... (cont'd)

| | | | | | Honest, outgoing, thoughtful and motivated. More pragmatist than dreamer, organized (almost to a fault), and with a great sense of humor. Blessed with strong family values, which I hope will carry over and be the basis for a happy and stable family life. I was born in Greece but have grown up in the US, therefore fully bilingual and bicultural. I enjoy my heritage and look forward to summers in Greece. I may not have the body of a model, but I have the heart of an angel. (Since I may not always be a full member, please include your email in your message.)
An outgoing, confident, “kurios”, preferably without the Greek “manga” personality. Someone with strong family values who is open, communicative, and hard-working. Strong, yet gentle. Mature, yet childish. Preferably “melaxrinos”. He has a sense of humor and a zest for life. Equally at ease spending quiet time at home or dancing a zembekiko at a festival. The ability to speak Greek a definite plus, but not a necessity. Physical appearance is not a priority (what’s in the heart and mind are more important), but there definitely needs to be some chemistry. Euxomai na ta poume sindoma! (PS - a pic would be nice) ...
