About Me: My curiosity and love of nature comes from my father and his search for quiet islands and exploring their beautiful beaches. I guess I inherited a lot from my parents- who are now both teachers.
Independence and self-sufficiency I learned with my brother from trips that rarely did not involve a car + plane + boat and if we were really good little kids a bus or truck (woo-hoo)!
Patience and acceptance I learned from my mom who got seasick on all these trips in the Caribbean, New England or Aegean and just kept smiling & coming back for more…
I developed an allergy to cold rain, snow & mud growing up in NY/CT/MA and would break out in mittens and a down jacket, so I got outta there and moved to California. This kinda sucks b/c it put me even farther from my roots in Syros/Tinos/ Skopelos and Sparti.
I just did the math and have spent 5 years living in Greece. I’m a citizen of Greece and America and look forward to continuing to live & work in both countries. I love my work in the Tech space and really try to focus on maintaining work/ life balance- which is a great exercise w/ startups.
I’m hopeful to meet someone who shares my love of sea, sun, travel, culture and the quirkiness of people. I love Greek women because they’re intelligent, caring, beautiful people who share many of my values of honesty, integrity, education and eleftheria.
